Het tweede deel van een zeer gevarieerd nalatenschap uit het Brusselse bevat enkele belangrijke werken van de Roemeense school. Zo is er “Amprenet pe Covor” van Ion Ţuculescu (1910 – 1962). Olieverf op doek (100 x 81 cm). Gesigneerd en achteraan gedateerd 1961. Typisch werk voor de kunstenaar uit de periode rond 1960. Zo’n werken brengen in Boekarest, maar ook daarbuiten, soms bedragen met zes cijfers op en er zal ongetwijfeld vanuit de Roemeense hoofdstad belangstellling zijn voor dit werk.

Un tablou de Ion Ţuculescu (1910-1962) iubitorii de artă din România vor fi interesați.

The second part of a very varied heritage from the Brussels aria contains among others some important work of the Romanian School. For instance “Amprenet pe Covor (Imprints on a carpet) by Ion Ţuculescu (1910-1962). Oil on canvas (100 x 81 cm). Signed and on the back dated 1961. Typical for the artist in the period right before his death. Paintings like that fetch five and six figure amounts in Bukarest and also in Germany and France. Amateurs in the Romanian capital will certainly be interested.686704601

De eerste nummers voor de antiekveiling van 23 en 24 augustus staan intussen op de website, er valt nog erg veel te fotograferen. Interessant zijn de diverse loten etnologische voorwerpen, herkomstig van het nalatenschap van een diplomate die zowel in Afrika als in Zuid-Amerika en Oost-Europa dienst heeft gedaan en een zeer heterogene, maar daarom des te mooiere collectie heeft bijeengespaard.

En inmiddels zijn ook de eerste mooie loten binnengekomen voor de wijnveiling van september. Tijd misschien ook voor u om de wijnkelder te herschikken. Er kan wijn worden binnengebracht op afspraak.

Terwijl de antiekveiling langzamerhand vorm krijgt (de laatste vrachtwagens zijn gelost: o.m. met een zeer goede vleugelpiano en talrijke grote tuinornamenten) en u meer en meer foto’s te zien krijgt op de website, is de wijncatalogus klaar en staan alle flessen met foto en omschrijving op de site. Ook tijdens de wijnveiling zullen nu ook alle loten op het scherm getoond worden. Kopers zullen dat extra werk allicht kunnen appreciëren.

Tandis que la vente aux enchères d’antiquités prend lentement sa forme (les derniers camion sont déchargés d’un piano à queue et de nombreux grands ornements de jardin) et vous trouvez de plus en plus de photos sur le site web, le catalogue des vins fins et rares est achevé et toutes les bouteilles sont à voir sur le site avec texte et photo. Durant la vente des vins les lots seront aussi montrés sur l’écran. Un peu de travail extra que les acheteurs apprécieront sans aucune doute.

While the antiques auctions is starting to get form with more and more photos on the website (the last van loads contained a piano and quite a few large garden ornaments), the fine and rare wine catalogue is ready and all the bottles are now visible on the website with text and photo. During the wine auction the lots will now also show on the screen. An extra effort that will surely be appreciated by our buyers.

Januari loopt alweer naar zijn einde…

… en we zien de eerste veiling van 2016 al aan de kim verschijnen. 30 en 31 januari kijkdagen, veiling op 2 en 3 februari.
En wat voor een veiling! Weer helemaal anders dan de vorige.

Zo hadden we weinig meubelen in december, nu stond de zaal al meteen stampvol. Mooie meubelen. Bibliotheken, staanklokken, secretaires enzoverder uit het Engeland en het Frankrijk van de XIXde eeuw. Een prachtige éénpersoonsslaapkamer van mahonie en ingelegd berkenhout, volop art nouveau. Enz. enz.

Collecties ook. Het eerste deel van een grote partij “vintage” parfum, met namen van Armani tot Yves Saint-Laurent, via Chanel, Cacharel en Dior… Een tweede deel wordt geveild in maart.
Evenals een grote collectie Maoïstische affiches uit het begin van de jaren ’70. De charme van dictatoriale indoctrinatie, als het ware. Zowel historisch als nostalgisch van belang. De staat is overwegend uitstekend.
En een belangrijke partij mooie tot uitzonderlijke Oosterse tapijten. Eerherstel voor deze prachtige handgemaakte kleden is in aantocht, mis de gelegenheid niet.

En daarnaast veilen we de gebruikelijke waardevolle juwelen, schilderijen, beeldhouwwerken, collectievoorwerpen… Begin volgende week zetten we de laatste loten op de website. Blijven volgen dus.

Janvier atteint déjà sa fin et la première vente aux enchères approche: expo les 30 et 31 janvier, vente les 2 et 3 février. Et quelle vente! Entièrement différente de celle de décembre.

En décembre il n’y avait pas beaucoup de meubles. Maintenant la salle s’est remplie immédiatement de très beaux meubles tel que bibliothèques, horloges de vestibule, secrétaires etc. etc. de l’Angleterre et de la France du XIXe siècle. Une très belle chambre à coucher au lit simple d’époque Art Nouveau en acajou et bouleau incrusté. Etc. etc.

Et des collections: une première partie de parfums “vintage”, d’Armani à Yves Saint-Laurent, par Chanel, Cacharel et Dior… Une deuxième partie sera mise en vente en mars.
Egalement une grande collection d’affiches Maoïstes des années 70. Disons, la charme de l’endoctrinement dictatorial… D’une importance historique comme nostalgique! Et en très bon état.
Mentionnons encore la belle collection de tapis d’Orient. La réhabilitation de cette exceptionnelle manufacture est proche, ne ratez pas cette opportunité.

Evidemment il y a les bijoux de valeur, les tableaux de maître, les sculptures et objets d’art, les objets de collection… Les derniers lots apparaîtront au début de la semaine prochaine, continuez donc de nous suivre.

January reaches its end and our first auction is nearing. Viewing on January 30 and 31, auction on February 2 and 3. And quite a sale it will be! Totally different from the one in December.

In December there was not a lot of furniture on offer. This time our room filled quickly with very fine pieces of furniture form the English and French XIXth century. Bookcases, longcase clocks, secretaires etc. etc. Even a beautiful art nouveau bedroom suite, made of carved mahogany and inlaid birch. Etc. etc.

And various collections. The first part of a collection of vintage perfumes. From Armani to Yves Saint-Laurent via Chanel, Cacharel, Dior… A second part will be auctioned in March.
Remarkable is the large collection of Chinese revolutionary posters from the seventies. The charms of dictatorial indoctrination, so to say. Historic as well as nostalgic importance. And in a very good state of conservation.
And let’s not forget the very nice collection of Oriental carpets. The rehabilitation of these beautiful artefacts is nigh, so don’t miss the opportunity.
