Op 17 maart is het de beurt aan de wijn. Let op: kijkdagen voor de wijn: zaterdag 14 maart van 10 tot 12 uur en zondag 15 maart van 14 tot 17 uur!
Le 17 mars c’est le tour aux vins. Attention: expo des vins le samedi 14 mars de 10 à 12 h et le dimanche 15 mars de 14 à 17 h!
On the 17th of March it’s our wine sale. Watch out: viewing of wines on Saturday March 14th from 10 to 12 and Sunday March 15th from 2 to 5!

Zoals u kan zien loopt de catalogus stilaan mooi vol. Opnieuw een aantal belangrijke inboedels met o.m. een aantal erg goede schilderijen, maar ook zilverwerk, beeldhouwwerk, porselein, talrijke klokken, antieke meubelen, diverse verzamelobjecten, een meer dan levensgroot Chinees beeld uit een prachtige boomstronk gekapt…
En dan is er op 17 maart natuurlijk ook de wijn. Die stroomt intussen binnen (zonet nog twee nieuwe klanten mogen verwelkomen), tot begin volgende week. De catalogus zal dus pas na de antiekveiling beschikbaar zijn. En de kijkdagen zijn op 14 en 15 maart.
Comme vous voyez, le catalogue de mars se rempli à un rythme soutenu. De nouveau quelques inventaires importants, contenant des tableaux de qualité, de l’argenterie, des sculptures, des porcelaines, des horloges, des meubles anciens, des objets de collection très divers, un sculpture chinois de grandeur plus que nature etc.
Et il y a aussi la vente aux enchères de vins fins le 17 mars. Les bouteilles entrent sans cesse (il y a quelques minutes encore, nous avons pu accueuillir deux nouveaux clients) jusqu’au début de la semaine prochaine. Le catalogue sera prêt après la vente des antiquités. L’expo aura lieu les 14 et 15 mars.
As you notice the antiques catalogue is taking form. Again we have some important inventories from around the country containing important paintings, silver, sculpture, porcelain, a great number of clocks, antique furniture, objects of vertu and collection, a supersized Chinese wood sculpture from one beautiful treetrunk, etc.
And of course there’s wine too. It’s pooring in quickly until the beginning of next week… Catalogue will be ready after the antiques sale and the viewing will be on March 14th and 15th.

Our website was down for a while yesterday. Everything is back on line and running. Onze website was een tijdje onbereikbaar gisterenavond. Intussen is alles opnieuw OK. Dus, neem een kijkje in onze catalogi: die van de Wijnveiling op 18 november, die van de Kunst-en Antiekveiling op 19 november en kijk ook al eens naar een aantal fotos die intussen klaar zijn voor de veiling van december. Bekijk zeker al een keer de prachtige juwelen.
Notre site web était indisponible pendant quelques heures hier soir. Entretemps tout est de nouveau OK. Donc, veuillez bien jeter un coup d’oeil sur les différents catalogues: celui de la vente de Vins Fins le 18 novembre, celui de la vente d’Objets d’Art et d’Antiquités le 19 novembre. Et regardez déjà à ces photographies qui sont déjà prêtes pour la vente de décembre. Admirez p.e. les merveilleux bijoux.

Nu begin ik aan de catalogus van de wijn. Een mooie catalogus zal dat worden, met o.m. Yquem en Haut-Brion uit de oorlogsjaren, L’Evangile uit 1947, Magnums Troplong Mondot uit de jaren zeventig enz. Maar evengoed mooie crus bourgeois uit de jaren negentig en uit de naughties, die nu mooi op dronk zijn. De wijnen kunnen bekeken worden op zaterdag 15 en zondag 16 november van 11 tot 18 uur.
Je commence maintenant à cataloguer les vins. Il risque de devenir un très beau catalogue avec p.e. des Yquem et Haut-Brion des années de la Seconde Guerre, des Evangile de 1947, des magnums de Troplong Mondot e.a. des années soixante-dix etc. Mais aussi de beaux crus bourgeois des années 90 et 00, prêts à boire. Les vins seront visibles les samedi 15 et dimanche 16 novembre de 11 à 18 h.
And now I’m starting to catalogue the wines. And a very nice catalogue it’s going to be with e.g. Yquem and Haut-Brion from the world war years (the second that is), Evangile from 1947, Magnums Troplong Mondot and others from the seventies etc. But just as well some very fine crus bourgeois from the nineties and naughties, ready to drink now. The wines are on view on Saturday November 15 and Sunday November 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Another van load with some quite nice items came in today and a few more wine pallets. That should end the big transports this month. It’s full, really full. Lets see, a Jaeger Lecoultre Atmos clock is always nice to auction, as are some old bottles of Mouton-Rothschild.
