Tentoonstelling – Viewing – Exposition

De laatste hand aan de tentoonstelling wordt vandaag gelegd. De catalogus is compleet, die komt straks van de drukker. Hij staat met foto’s op de website en je kan hem downloaden in excel. Straks ook in .pdf met foto’s.
Je zal de loten in het echt willen zien en dat kan nu zaterdag en zondag van 11 tot 18 uur. Voor de extra dag veiling op 17 september kan dat ook op zaterdag 13 en zondag 14 september van 14 tot 18 uur, samen met de tentoonstelling van de wijn voor 16 september.

Kom zeker kijken, want het steekt hier echt eivol. Voor elk wat wils dus, als het ware.
Zeker ook mensen die voor het eerst met onze website geconfronteerd worden: kom eens langs tijdens het weekend, een veiling kent geen grote geheimen, we leggen je graag van naaldje tot draadje uit hoe het allemaal werkt.

Aujourd’hui nous finalisons notre exposition. Le catalogue est complet, il sera livré par l’imprimerie cet après-midi. Photos des lots sont sur le site web et le catalogue peut être téléchargé en excel. Plus tard aujourd’hui également en .pdf avec photos.
Vous voulez sans doute voir les objets en réalité et vous êtes invité de le faire ce weekend de 11 à 18 h. Les objets de la soirée supplémentaire au 17 septembre, seront aussi exposés les samedi 13 et dimanche 14 septembre, ensemble avec les vins pour le 16 septembre.

Venez certainement voir. La salle est pleine comme un oeuf. Pour tous les goûts. Certes les gens qui sont pour la première fois confrontés avec notre site web bénéficierons de passer lors de ce weekend. La vente aux enchères ne connait pas de grands secrets et nous expliquerons volontiers comment ça marche.

Today we put the finishing hand to our viewing. The catalogue is complete, there is something for everyone, the printer will deliver it later today. Photos of the lots are on the website and you can download the catalogue in excel. Later today, you will be able to download the catalogue in .pdf with all the photographs.
When you want to look at the items in reality, you’re invited to the viewing days this Saturday and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The lots for the supplementary session on September 17th will be on view on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th from 2 tot 6 p.m. as well, together with the wines for September 16th.

Many people have found our new website and a lot of them give us encouraging comments. You may have noticed that we are not entirely ready yet: about 100 lots have to be added to the catalogue. We’ll do that today.

For those who didn’t find this out for themselves: when you click on the top left corner of the enlarged photo, you get a REALLY large photo to see every tiny detail.

And let’s not forget: there’s a viewing on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wine auction

Yes, by the way. Don’t forget we shall be having a wine auction on Tuesday September 16th. When you have some fine bottles you wish to sell, you can still bring them if you give us a call first. There are some interesting lots waiting to be sold, but we have been flooded by art and antiques and that pushed the wine catalogue a bit further away. Don’t worry, wine lovers, it will be ready in time…

Without exception every big change involves delay… We had hoped the bidding system would have been ready somewhere last week. And it’s not, that was to be expected and nobody’s complaining. In the meantime you can leave all your bids through rik.martens@skynet.be, indicating lot number, your name and address and the maximum price you are willing to pay. We shall bid in your place as if you were there. Honestly, ask any regular customer… And then of course in the days to come, the system will work.

I’m sorry we had to turn down a few customers who had some items for the auction. We’re full, we really are. Furniture from the XVIIIth century onwards stowed up to the gate… Very nice paintings, modern and old masters, Chinese, Japanese and European porcelain, bronzes, marble and other sculptures, oriental art, comics and Tintin cars… Come have a look during the viewing on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st
